Divine Vision

Alone, I sank myself that night, In prayer, deep, divine and true. And in my mind, I saw a sight- A vision I was meant to view: Amidst the acres- stretching land, And before a palace great, I found myself, with Jesus, stand, And gaze at what might be my fate. A voice was heard- Him asking me, "Is this your long-gone destiny? Or is it up to you to leave It all behind and work for me?" I thought no more and answered fast, And chose to go with Him to life- Life eternal, waiting, vast, And full of bliss, but not a sigh!
