Divine Education
God gives to those that seek Him
a rich desire from within their heart
willing to learn His deep truths
for in their life to play no small part
Being educated by God's instruction
is to find life's truest meaning
filling your mind with divine things
sometimes you think you're dreaming
God has shown me such deep truths
that without them I'd be at a loss
this life would have been much worse
not knowing His sovereign full gloss
Jesus has been my headteacher
pointing me always to His holy book
showing me life-changing verses
that would make me change my look
Looking on with God-shaped eyes
being enlightened in redeeming grace
what merciful faith received
such a great God I embrace
