Divine Blanket

As if a blanket be specially placed Upon the land so humbly graced. A white so pure, so fresh, sublime, A blessing, surely divine. Steeples covered, as Christmas card, Litter the landscape of England proud, Tools down, the children play, Simple pleasures embrace the day. Sunshine glistens on twinkling ground, Mesmerising magic all around, This beauty which fulfils the soul Is exquisitely a fresh snow fall.
