Diversity Ended

Our differences are too great, we can't make it work
I have tried and tried , now I feel like a jerk

You have your life and I have mine
Nothing to mingle, it would ruin the good times

Our affection is there, but it is not to be
You can't have your cigarettes and also have me

So we started and ended, all in a short time
You will live your life, as I must live mine
