Distances Between Us

Distances between us
But still I feel so close
Suitors asking for me
Yet you I want the most

Miles… states… countries… continents…
No vastness can keep us apart
No matter what, I will always love you
It is you who holds my heart

Even though you are so far away
As hopeless as it seems
At night I lay my head down
And I am with you in my dreams

If we are never truly together
If I never feel your lips against mine
If we are not in love forever
If we never cross that line

Then I want you to always remember
That someone in this crazy world does love you
You are always on my mind and in my heart
And I hope you really love me too
