Distance and Other Thoughts of You

I watched the sun set from my bedroom window
Counting the hours that passed before you had to go
I have that look on your face forever burning on my mind
The only thing I have left to hang onto is time
I miss those endless days beside you, staring into your eyes
Forever lost, forever in love. I shouldn't be surprised
I always knew good things came to an end
But this was more than good, this might have been
great, the only thing great in my life
you
were by far way too good to be true.
