Dismissing Dandy

Walking along the way Dandy spotted an old friend Ignorant enough to believe Relationships never end He said, "Hi!" Sally and her husband diverted Trying to quickly move along But Dandy followed, in concern Sensing something had gone wrong Just as they thought they were clear A tap on Sally's shoulder brought great fear .....in one dreadful moment Face to face with Dandy, they were Not moving out of the interaction Like continuing to eat In spite of bowel impaction Then, he spoke... "I didn't know if you heard me I just had to come say hello I'm delivered, healed, and whole Just wanted to let you know ....the new me" "Truly, Dandy, we are in such a hurry So many commitments, gotta go" Quickly, they entered into a sprint Followed by a "Good to see ya...though." Dandy's heart was crushed By stampeding elephants...going nowhere No matter how much better one is The pretentious will not be moved to care ...about Dandy.
