Disillusionment

My concept of existence,
Was like scenes from a distance;
Green, lush, many floral-filled,
By which anyone gets thrilled...!

When twigs and dry trunks appeared,
When turns and twists made me feared,
When skin and flesh, like clothes, smeared,
I knew life, often, is geared...!

I aim at something, but hunt,
Everything that I confront;
Strife ends like a filmy stunt,
Sadly, I bear every brunt...!
