Disillusioned

the moon shines on questions deep in the dark
the sun rises unanswered on where they are parked
maybe they are there and I just don't want to see
protecting my heart from disillusioned beliefs

one of many days the same, there is no relief
the light doesn't beep on a phone that won't ring
I can't put it away, through every pore it seeps
it won't let me rest and it never sleeps
