Gosh I'd forgotten all about this poem Cynthia - its amazing to think since I started writing in February last year I've posted over 460 poems on my page and about 30 poems with my wonderful writing partner Darren Watson under the name Jadazzle United - sadly Darren is not well at the moment so writing together is on hold for the moment - I miss him more and more every day:-( Hugs jan x

I really like how you did your entry. Dracula screams out for D's alliteration!! By the way, are we required to only use the word Masquerade as our title? wish i knew!!

Thanks Andrea - no idea on the title it is not clear from the rules. I took the definition for masquerade to be 'in disguise' so I hope the poem is acceptable - never tried a pleiades before so am happy with my effort and am learning all the time - its my 4th post tonight! - 5th poem written but its a bit 'cheeky' so may leave it a while and consider posting lol. Hugs Jan xxx
