Disguised

Summer's wearing a disguise
Which sunshine lovers do despise
For, though we welcome it today,
The raindrops seem prepared to stay.

According to the news reports,
It's also way too cool for shorts
And jacket wearers get a boon
'Cause they've been needed all through June.

Though muggy weather's not for me
And it's been great without A/C,
Since summer season's now begun,
Ditch that disguise and show some sun!

Bravo! A FAVE! I'm with you 1,000,000 % here. We've got the same issue here in Chicago. Haven't seen 80 degrees until today. Lately it's been in the 50's and low 60's. Ugh! Ilene, you are leading the fight for truth, justice, and the American Summer!!! :) gw

Time for your vacation to Hawai'i, where we have broken or equalled record high temperatures for 20-days this month! One night, the low in Honolulu was 79-degrees! Plenty of sunshine and warm, warm ocean! Aloha! Rico
