Discovery

Living life in solitude, hiding in the dark Cloistered in my minds cocoon, fearful to embark Shying from reality, my world was make believe I could not get beyond myself, to fantasy I cleaved That is when you found me and entered my domain Leading with your gentle hand, my confidence you gained And slowly you helped me to see, the beauty past my door You opened up my eyes to see a world not seen before And with your love to guide me, two hearts now united You filled my days with sunshine, a new spark you ignited Without you I would still be lost, my options would be few It was you that opened up the door, and you that led me through
