Discovering a Pet In My Soup

I could barely sit through the rest of the meal, could not wait to get home, and pull out my find. You see I had seen his gill slits as he dashed under the creole It was a dwarf lanternshark, a particular favorite of mine. The date was not going all that well anyway, There would be no follow up calls to this man with a bray. My attention was now on my soup, and the replaceable teeth of this darling little lanternshark, that I saw diving down deep. I stopped moving my spoon, and took the rest of my meal to go, could barely wait to get out, away from this blow hard I did not know I had never before found a lantern shark in my soup. I stopped on the way home to buy him a lantern sharp coup. Written 12-17-2018 Contest: Shark in The Soup Sponsor: Anthony Slausen

This is hilarious... If I was still dating, I would think of this every time I got stuck with a boring/ annoying date. "Why are you looking at your soup like that?" "Oh, nothing." (still looking for my very own lanternshark...)

I thought I had to try this contest, as it was right down my soup spoon so to speak.
