Ya ya ya
I have never discovered,
I have never displayed,
The pain and discomfort,
That I go through each and every day,

I have never found hope,
I have never found faith,
Even though I still kneel and pray,
Each and every day,

I have felt torture,
I have felt shame,
But do I mention it,
Do I say their names,

Is it to late,
To win back my sanity,
To win back my heart,
Or will I let it all fall apart,
Falling through the floorbroad cracks,
I'm just a moment,
A long missed placed memory,
Buried in this treasure chest,
Of forgotten memories.

Will I stay here,
Til the dust settles,
Or will I explode through this treasure chest,
And send the dust flying through the air
The warrior she as returned,,
Now with pride that I survived,
Now I wave and swing my sword,
At those who did me wrong.

I feel you, Davina... this is a most beautiful verse full of sorrow and pain that I am sure I have felt. I am immensely honored to read your beautiful work. Thinking about you and hoping all's well! Love always, Laura
