Disconsolate Clouds
The thunderstorm is heard in the distance…
You are the thunderclouds…soaking in wrath and distress
You released your waterfall of tears…
The ocean overhead… spills on my rooftops…
Disconsolate clouds reduce to tears
I’m the sinking ship in the middle of the sea…
I’m the volcano…magma and lava brews inside of me
I explode…without warning
Avalanches of lava stream down my cheeks…
Disconsolate clouds soaks in your fears...
Lightning unveils its beauty...thunder is seen miles and miles away...
Rowdy, boisterous sounds reach our ears...
Lightning strikes suddenly with majestic rage...the wind begins to sway...
Viciously...passionately...
We’re all facing those bittersweet days
We’re all fenced in between…
but we’re going our own ways
The grass is greener on the other side…
How I hate being separated from you…
I must remain calm during the bumpy ride
How I hate feeling hopeless…and you don’t have a clue
Disconsolate clouds are clothed in desolate gears
You have a hardened heart...
You abandoned me – I’m a sheep hunted down
By a frantic, ravenous wolf...
You are a heartless shepherd...find it somewhere in your heart
To erase my frown
Disconsolate clouds echoes fears...
Lightning appears...thunder is heard in the distance...
Intense, boisterous sounds reach our ears...
Lightning flashes...thunder is exposing its prudence...
Could you mend my damaged heart?
Could you transform the thunderstorm into a sunlit day?
Dismiss those disconsolate clouds and we’ll be on a good start
Could you wash away the sorrow, searing with dismay?
Disconsolate clouds embrace their absence
And conceal themselves for years
