Discarded Debris

Discarded, I stand amid debris
Alone, unable to call for help
No one to hear a silent yelp
I gaze, helpless, at laughing sea
The sand is grazing limbs exposed
Elemental curses imposed
Can you not see, can you hear me?

Each wave that brings closer my end
In vibrant blue destruction waits
I’m used, abused, at death’s own gates
And metal casings rust and bend.
I die alone on sunlit beach
Beyond saving hands final reach
With nothing left to give, no friend
