Disappointment

I agree to disagree
With people who say 
That love is always a possibility
But part of me thinks, that for me there’s just no way

Because after all that I’ve been through 
I’ve learned that people just don’t stay
I’ve given people everything I knew
And yet they still just got up and walked away

Poet Destroyer A April 6, 2015 at 5:03 PM Hello Karina, this is deep, I kind of get what you are talking about. Life is not made of rainbows and all the good things people talk about. I know about disappointment, not only am I a giver of it. I've also been let down so many times, when the ones I thought loved me, up and leave. Awesome first poem...
