Disappeared

A teardrop fell on a rose petal...
From sadness that wouldn't settle...
It rolled off and slid down the stem...
Taking with it another tear on them...
I wiped it away from a heart not torn...
Then it dropped and split open on a thorn...
As all the pain just disappeared...
I swallowed the taste and met my fears...

I guess a good cry can wash the problem away eventually. Love the end and resolution of the pain Michael. Thank you for your comment, I think we all go through it which gives a reason to write. :)

It's a well done poem, you say a lot in those 8 lines, and I really feel the sadness. I don't think you could have possibly made a more chilcé first line though...I really don't.  -KMD
