Disappearance

The ship sails out to the sea From the beach the onlookers may spot Leaning on the rails of the quay How the ship soon turns to a dot For the passengers looking back The shore soon becomes a line In a back view from the deck No details an eye can define Soon the ship disappears from sight And the shore disappears too And the view seen from both sides Is the sea under skies of blue.
