Dirt

I was once a diamond
 Standing out from everyone,
 Your only amazement
  From all other women.

I was once a pearl
  Shining through the waves
  Deep within the curls
You dive just to get me.

As days go by,
   I became a pebble
From the apple of your eyes
I am now abandoned and forgotten.

Now I am just a dirt
Who can't get near your sight
  You rubbed me off
  Without any good bye.

I still love you though.
