Dipawali, Festival of Lights

Lamps blaze bright Like gold flames; Moon and stars smile. Acts of Demon quelled, Forts of goodness founded, Might of God lights up each nook. Driving out darkness from the scene, Earth and sky seem dance in harmony. (In northern India, by lighting rows of clay lamps, they celebrate the story of Lord Rama's returning to Ayodhya, after he defeated Ravana the demon)
