Dip Your Toe In the Water
D-ip your toe in the water,
I-n a venture into the unknown;
A-im to do your best,
N-ever fear when you're alone.
N-ow dip your toe in the water of living in the world of trouble;
E-xert all your efforts in order to be successful.
C-ome dip your toe in the water,
L-ife's uncertain neath the sky;
E-ndure either fret or woe,
O-n the twenty-seventh of July.
F-ill your heart with hope, in the middle of bleak weather,
E-ither rain or beacon, dip your toe in the water.
