Notes About The Poem
May 2 2026 1.31pm Contest: What's In The Shoebox Contest Sponsor: Nette Onclaud Date written: 5/2/2026

Diorama Shoebox

nature photos cut from magazine
glued on sides mounting a childhood's dream
rocks and popsicle sticks-made bungalow
painted brightly around like rainbow
mom displayed it on the shelf
confidence and trust within myself
years of hard work and inspiration
artwork in shoebox is now my home

Of course dear because I'm teaching arts not only math. I always ask my students to make a diorama out of popsicle sticks. why?
