Dinner Party
Tonight we went to a party.
The food was certainly hardy.
We were just a bit tardy.
Hardly a problem for family.
We laughed holding hands familiar.
Presents and play - was quite a day.
To descibe in words, it's hard to say.
Hugs and kisses, a piggy back ride.
I swelled at my family with pride.
The rest are many stores in picture books.
Through albums, we carefully had looks.
Some brought me back to sweet memories
They've grown like the mighty oak trees.
Dinner on pretty china dishes.
Candles blown out to make wishes.
