Dinner and Friends I saw him smile at her as he brought forth his hand and i saw her smiling back he had a flower from the land so i wept a tear for every petal that fell as the clock ticked on to eternity i watched as he passed the plate not just to her but to all who came everyone always cherrished the feast every mouth watering bite eased the pain so i wept a tear for every morsel the desire that forever tolls your name i will for that ever be inspired by that meager man so great for god doesn't make men heroes heroes are the memories men make so i wept a tear for every sorrow that his memory will replace By: Jeremy Siedlecki
