Diminish Away Disarray

I must not give in to corruption's hold I must not be timid and scared, but bold I lust after success and I’m under pressure… I can’t see straight because you’re just a blur Gravity is beyond measure I dust off my shoes and keep walking away From human nature pleasure I rust like a bicycle left in the rain in disarray You paint upon me insanity and delight (and I used to love it so much) You faint when you see trouble tonight You taint me with trauma and tension (yet I adored your warm touch) You filled my heart with apprehension Not to mention you must really like to pay no attention To my side of the story that is not far from discretion Give me a reason to carry on tonight (in your embracing grace of art) Living this life is harder than it seems I need help and mend my carrion heart (with hardly any more might) Quiet down and listen to my screams I can’t believe you handled me carelessly and abruptly In your uncanny hands, I thought I was entirely complete I shouldn’t doubt You, but hope faded so unexpectedly In your arms, I simply assumed that I'll be above your feet Gravity is beyond measure I dust off my shoes and keep walking away From human nature pleasure I rust like a bicycle left in the rain in disarray You paint upon me insanity and delight (and I used to love it so much) You faint when you see trouble tonight You taint me with trauma and tension (yet I adored your warm touch) You filled my heart with apprehension Not to mention you must really like to pay no attention To my side of the story that is not far from discretion Give me a reason to carry on tonight (in your embracing grace of art) Living this life is harder than it seems I need help and mend my carrion heart (with hardly any more might) Quiet down and listen to my screams You played me by ear on your pensive piano You were so engrossed in your sorrow and woe You can pull and push my strings like many guitars So far, we were all designed to be divergent stars Gravity is beyond measure I dust off my shoes and keep walking away From human nature pleasure I rust like a bicycle left in the rain in disarray Get me through this tribulation I found myself in Give me a reason to carry on with this life of strife… (we will make it eventually) Bring me liberating life and forgive my life of sin I want you and I to shine on triumphantly (much like a butcher's favorite knife)
