Different Ability

Disabled
Crippled
No, that is not me
I am totally capable
Only I do things differently

I may have wheels
And yet I am not confined
I choose not to use words
That restrict and define

I do not consider myself disabled
Or living with a handicap
Even though sometimes things are difficult
I quickly adapt

I can choose to complain about my situation
But I’d rather be happy, educate and advocate
So many are uneducated about my community
So getting the word out this simply can not wait
