Different

We're created in God's own Image
But, no two are exactly the same
Sometimes, we have the same birthday
And we can even, have the same name

We're just the one in the mirror
Not who people want us to be
We follow our own convictions
With our own personality

We can't choose where we come from
But, we can choose where we will go
We make our own decisions
Not because they told us so

We have nothing to prove to no one
Difference is what we pursue
Scorned and mocked for nothing
Just because we're not like you

Being different is what God intended
I don't know why they can't see
I'll never be your reflection
And that's what makes me, me

Congrats on all of them especially the one you placed first. Great job, Larry. By the way what's the name of the town you live in in Tenn? Don't tell me if you'ld rather not. Anyway have a great week. ur Pal, Ralph

I love this one Larry, acceptance of our differences tend to be obstacles for some people. ~ WN
