Difference of Opinions Within Me

Many things analogous both of us dream,
But the way we think and act, quite different to both of us it may seem.
Though each of us judges by the deeds we do and the attitudes we keep,
Ultimately the karma we sow is the karma we reap.

Both of us desire a better way and name,
But can we really say this or acclaim?
Our thoughts oppose each other like the night and the day,
As the way we think and do is not in the same way.

Not a single way we amicably agree,
What’s apt for you, in no way seems correct to me.
And on all the topics we do not see eye to eye,
On different points of view we seemingly abide by.

At times within me we deliberate and ponder,
Why can bonds between us not grow fonder?
Why can’t your opinion be as good as mine?
Then both of us don’t have to between us whine.

Why can’t both of us agree to work this upon?
So our differences are all gone….
Let us give this a try,
And together agree without blinking an eye.
