Difference
Our time spent together is few and far between, I enjoy the few.
That's the difference between me and you.
My hearts happy in your presence, I enjoy everything we do
That's the difference between me and you.
You're in my thoughts and prayers, oh if wishes could come true
That's the difference between me and you.
Your words can be so kind, if your emotions I only knew
That's the difference between me and you.
One day I'll look back and wonder what if, you took action on your loneliness too
That's the difference between me and you.
Your smile brings me joy and comfort, your gestures will forever seem new
That's the difference between me and you.
You've had your share of moments like this, where others show interest in you. You try to
emphasize your unattainability, eventually you do
That's the difference between me and you.
Your pride hurts my heart and your will-power leaves me blue
That's the difference between me and you.
I have no desire for another whenever I'm with you
That's the difference between me and you.
Long from now I'll be just another girl you knew
That's the difference between me and you.
I could see this going the long haul, could see this being sincere and true
That's the difference between me and you
You take your time, say there's a reason you are the way you are, its your brain that
decides what you do
That's the ultimate difference between me and you.
