Die By the Sword

Once you have won your freedom, my friend,
And established your rights as a man
Do not tarry with your sword held high
Melt it in fire as soon as you can

For there are those who see tyranny
In arrogance displayed as power
And the will is strong and eternal
To destroy the man in the tower

You will be called as your time draws nigh
Sword or old age - which way will you die
