Did You See

Grandma, did you see the lady in the water? Who
Is she? Where does she come from? Why was
She white?
Oh! Goodness you must be breathless.
All those questions child you are a delight.
I will enlight
After I pull this from my mind which has a lot
Of bookishness.
Grandma, did you see the lady in the water? Who
Is she? Where does she come from? Why was
She white.
Her name is Coventina, she's a Celtic water white
Goddess.
All those questions child you are a delight.
She was around when there were knights
And was a sorceress.
Grandma, did you see the lady in the water? Who
Is she? Where does she come from? Why was
She white?
Here is something that will shed some light.
Coventina is the lady of the lake who gave King
Arthur his sword so he wouldn't be weaponless.
All those questions child you are a delight.
I would suggest you read about Camelot,
King Arthur, the round table and write
A short story. Oh! Grandma. Get going. This is
So your experience won't be meaningless.
Grandma, did you see the lady in the water? Who
Is she? Where does she come from? Why was
She white?
All those questions child you are a delight.

Thank you. I love writing about children and what they come up with. Children are full of surprises.
