Did You Ever Love Me

If you knew the pain you cause,
My heart to suffer through,
Would you treat me differently,
Or continue the way you do?

Does it bother you at all
How deeply that you hurt me,
Or that you drive me deeper into
My depression and this anxiety?

This heartlessness you are showing—
I've never seen this part of you.
Has this been hiding in the shadows?
Is this development something new?

How many hearts have you claimed
In this reckless game you play?
Did you ever really love me?
Why do I get treated this way?
