Did You
Did you know what it was like to have a true friend,
someone who loves you, right to the end
Did you live everyday as if it where your last
Did you look towards the future or dwell on the past
Did you cherish your riches like family & friends
or base your value on how much you spend.
Did you stand in the rain with lightning and thunder
Did you stare at the stars and let your mind wonder
for our lives are so short and when put to the test
Did you do it for love, Did you give it your best?
