Diamonds
In the original Italian form
A diamond shines out bright with brilliant light beams,
and facets glow refracting rays to eyes' sight.
A royal sign doth scintillate spark like gleams.
Men seek this carbon source with hardness so right
to grind and sharpen steel tools used to make holes
in metal shapes, or plane with lathe rods most bright.
Now ornamental pendants gracing both lobes
do glisten face now wearing pair of fire coals.
Two perfect stones enhancing Queen's fur caped robes.
Denoting great commercial use and need seen,
demand for diamonds ever hold their value.
Investment wisely made in jewel seems keen.
With mind to time, possession may enrich you.
It's necessary person takes long time view.
