Diamond In the Rough
Diamond in the Rough
Hobbes
*Quick Note*
Poem for my mate, I love him so much =)
I have always thought something was special about you.
There's always been a glimmer in your eye.
And now I know all my assumptions were true,
And it makes me want to break down and cry.
But these are tears of joy I shed
Of that you shouldn't doubt.
And all the words I wish I'd said,
I want to scream and shout.
Cause I found you
A Diamond in the Rough.
You have opened my eyes, my heart, and my mind.
I love the way you always make me feel.
My vision is clear where I was once blind.
You've fixed something I thought would never heal.
I couldn't love you more it seems,
Of that you can be sure.
And when I'm with you, my smile beams,
You make this tiger purr.
And I love you,
My Diamond in the Rough.
Now I'm craving you even more and more.
And I wish I could move the land and seas.
So when we're apart it makes my heart sore.
Because your love is like a gental breeze.
It can be hard, and that's no lie,
But I am always here.
We always find ways too get by,
And never have to fear.
And I am yours,
My Diamond in the Rough.
