Diamond and Gold
The circle means eternity.
Forever our true love will be.
Of gold, decay will never mar,
And centered so, a pure, clear star
Of diamond set so eyes will linger
Upon the bride’s delicate finger.
And though the world entirely burn,
The lesson stands that all must learn:
Unbreakable stone in immutable gold
Stands for love that never grows old.
