Diamond

Diamond in my sky forever.
I wonder where you are.
You're stronger than any storm I can weather.
Deeper than my deepest scar.
But somehow I made you compare this sky,
To the one you were in before.
Uncertainty in a stable mind, from an unstable cry.
Leaving you searching along the same shore.
My sky grows dimmer when you're not in it,
The night grows cold and black.
The urge to linger, the urge to sit,
But lost from the light that I lack.
I wonder how I broke my sky,
And made my light fade away.
The Diamond wasn't forever, not sure why...
I just couldn't get it to stay.
