Dew Drops

Down upon the leaves of plants, it sparkles so clear.
Early morning, you can see the moisture, starlight brings.
Within its freshness from sunlight, looks like a tear.

Daylight sparkles, through each drop, as life sings.
Reveling in the sustenance, upon each plant sincere,
Only humidity you say, hardly, thirsts of kings.
Precious liquid gold, for natures growth, so dear,
So simply admire, the glory, as it briefly clings.

I love this line of "precious liquid gold"....that is truly true...the dew of a morning kiss...what could be fresher or sweeter than that? Thank you Cecil, for your kind comments! :) Love, Carrie

A tribute to beauty most take for granted and never even stop to notice. I find sparkling magic of nature within your words, magnified, so appreciated, and so much more. Gorgeous poetry. Love, Shar
