Devour Me

My furry fire a silky rouch; A smoky dire a burning torch Like a cloudy day, much on my grey soldier; Lightning filled eyes, grave with desire and danger Endure, forever free; Devour me For prey born a slave; You crave only to live Nor shall any of them pray; For what you kill this day Lost feet stumble upon your path; Bones found, where meat packs with teeth Chase me whole; Howl my soul Catch my breath; I'm yours 'til death Cut the ice and snow; With claw all that you know Colour me slow with your paw; And my red on white shall flow Herd me into your frame; To lead me home Run me down; ‘til the break of dawn In the first light of your shadow my sherperd; Sweep me away like a flowing willow in your legend 24-03-2015 Canis Lupus the Wolf - Poetry Contest

Hi Shadow...thank you, I enjoyed this contest and entered the instant I read the brief, I absolutely love the wolf. It is the closest thing to human on four legs (that's why we domesticated it I suppose)...cheers.
