Devotion
A devotee , your biggest fan
for seeing me through cloudy sands
allowing me to march in sync
and sharing honor in your rink.
Systems that support and lift
my body back to living fit
regaining balance in my walk
allowing me to peaceful talk.
Calming me with courage words
Leading me to dance and twirl
Back to my self that once was lost
Finding bravery without light.
A soldiers heart I've carried within
Growing like the strongest winds
Grooming me to follow my heart
Staying in my mind to start
Humanitarian teachings so
I can propel others to glow
If I can drive myself to change
I thank you for my broadened range.
A test of skill and bravery
A test of will unsavory
When I fall please help me up
Respect me when times get tough.
Respect my mind and how it works
Comprehende I dislike smirks
I've changed my inner atittude
I've showed hard work and not been rude.
Please stay with me throughout the days
I sway from brave to not ok
Please carry me through darkness that
Gets my brain all unwrapped.
I send my sweet sincerity
Right now to the open sea
For it to float and fill the air
With purity in restless prayers.
