Devastation
Devastation
Heart broken dialect
speaks thoroughly through tears
Cascading down soft cheeks
Gladiator slays the beast
Once thriving heart
Lay dead at the master's feet
Crushed spirit falls
Upon barren planes reflected as
Tiled bathroom floors
Splattered blood from one heart
Repels the force to go back in
A hurting creature
Pounding waves slam consciousness
A tidal wave of hurt
Quivering fingers move
With each shaky breath
Starving of once supple love
Broken with drowning sadness
Hands hold a bloodied, broken heart
Between two shaky knees
It refuses to go back
Into the cavern it once came from
Goodbye
Love, is just a dream
