Destroy All Seeds and Save the Landscape

I expected bills and fliers into my mailbox,
instead I have found these small peculiar seeds;
this uncertainty isn't a quiz but a parodox.
I was about to plant them into the backyard when
CNN News came on and warned not to open
them: I thought about losing my pretty daffodils!

Who has sent these small peculiar seeds today?
Are they trying to thrill or upset me in the midst
of a horrific pandemic that's spiking in the Midwest?
It spells trouble and it's bad news for me and everybody!

Even a person with average intelligence can figure it out,
" Destroy all seeds and save the landscape! " I will post
this on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to warn everyone:
" Don't lose your lovely garden to the foolishness of some!"

Very cool bent. Sage warning, though I'm not informed of its premise. Apt beginning of poem, draws the reader in.
