Destinys Bride

By Laura

I know the way out of here
Maybe the next one is near
Take the next train on out
Down this hall of doubts

Even if we make it through
I see the lives we never knew
The wolves may find our bodies here
Still, It's not too late for us, my dear

Well I see which way you came from
I know which pieces make you tick
Im staring down the shell in your gun
And building a fire surrounded by bricks

I know the next move
Never finding our groove
No more to prove to you
My cheeks are slowly turning blue

Take it from someone like me
The whispering leaves in the trees
All the nightmares I've seen
Never came from a dream

Now I see which way you came from
This time I will not make you tick
Instead the shell of my own gun
Singing to me just like my only sun

And I can see the places you hide
I'll restart the day I first kissed your lips
And leave you inside the place where our dreams collide
Maybe I'll find that I really am our destiny's bride
