Destiny Or Chance

The drop from heaven

Made its way through trees

Stopping for none

Till it sought her, deep in sleep

It fell on her brow

Cascading down the bridge

Catching its breath while

It rested in the softness of her cleft.

Her lips quivered

As it slid across the fullness

To the roundness of her chin

Hanging precariously for destiny to lead

The leaf too lived for the moment

Knowing not when next a drop

Would seek her out

To awaken her from her sleep

Almost like a scene from "Sleeping Beauty." Nicely descriptive, with a touch of intrigue.
