Destiny

I request you to quit,
Playing the game of ‘Hide and Seek’,
Stop taking me for granted,
For I am very meek!

To make you mine, was my only wish,
The warmth in your company I would always cherish,
I wanted to live with you and flourish,
Then why did my dream demolish?
And how could you be so selfish?

You still call yourself to be strong,
But escaping is a sign of weakness.
Our names fell apart,
We had to take different directions,
I don’t know whether it was you or the destiny,
We failed to travel together in the life’s journey!
