Destine To Believe

Rushing through the store
Kids waiting at school
Cell phone is ringing
Bills piling on a stool

Truck needs gas
Laundry isn't done
Dinner at seven
Isn't life fun

Work tomorrow
Doctors appointments too
Kiss the kids goodnight
Monday is finally through

Endless hours
Missing out on love
Passions overlooked
Heaven is waiting above

See a beautiful flower
Take in a scenic view
Do all the things
I've wanted to do

Take a long walk
Sleep in for an hour
Steal every last drop of hot water
Taking a shower

Candlelight dinners
Picnics in the park
Watching sunsets
Star gazing in the dark

I am Destine To Believe
That my life will change
For I am a wanderer
On an open range
