Despondency

Bring me solace throughout my life…
Bring me solace after sunset
Bring me solace after madness and strife
Bring me solace when I’m upset

Know I’m no longer upset

Sing to me my poetry 
Bring me to my knees
Swing me to set me free
Put me straight at ease

Let me be a tranquil tree
In the blessed breeze
Get me to your eternity
Gracefully at ease, at ease
Please be my serenity
Be my swaying deserts and seas
Seek solace in my plea
Heal me, save me, set my spirits free

Bring me serenity throughout this lifetime
Bring me solace upon my frame of mind
Flames of inspiration and desire, this time,
Burns within my passionate glow so kind
Glow so kind
Glow so kind
Know you’re very kind

Set my sorrowful spirits to soar triumphantly on
You no longer upset me, for I’m truly free
Like the dusk to the evening or the sun to the dawn
