Desires
You are there in my dreams
You are gone when I awake.
In my thoughts you linger
My emotions I forsake.
Here are my future desires
There are your empty needs.
When our eyes together meet
Passion within us pleads.
Reality is an ordinary place
Desires are burning our hearts.
No feelings shall be felt
Submissive fires long to start.
No meaning to hurt another
Replaces the lust of sinful pleasures.
While anticipation grows stronger
The sorrowful truth is measured.
For someday there is hope
Which will lead us to our future.
When joined together as one
The path we follow will nurture.
Until that day is upon us
The desires we feel must wait.
There will be no turning back
Only forward leaps to take.
