Desert Storm

Violent thunder in a blood red sky
Tears of anguish in the family’s eye
Hearts held achingly in the grip of fear ~
Praying for those they hold most dear.

How long must the fighting last?
How long before the pain has past?
How long before our troops return,
And the hatred in our hearts cease to burn...
